the dalai lama said sunday that the situation in his native tibet is deteriorating and he has little dedication that growing negotiations with the chinese direction will lead to greater autonomy quest of the part.
the exiled incorporeal leader has followed a “middle way” approach with beijing in which he seeks some form of autonomy that would authorize tibetans to freely practice their culture, argot and belief. but lately he has grown increasingly frustrated and vocal about the lack of travel, despite the departure of two of his envoys for new talks with china model week.
“now my faith in the chinese administration is becoming thinner, thinner, thinner,” he told reporters sunday in tokyo.
